Early 2020 saw the completion and opening of the new Rest Bay Watersports Centre and Cafe in Porthcawl on the South Wales Coast.
Rest Bay Watersports Centre and Cafe- Vale Roofing and Cladding LTD
Working in conjunction with the South Wales Architects EPT Partnership and builders Henstaff Construction Ltd, Vale roofing were tasked with providing all the roofing and cladding elements to a striking, two storey, braced steel and Glulam frame structure.
A curved standing seam roof manufactured by Euroclad Group (www.vieoroof.com) was complemented by PPC Aluminium Bullnose details and Soffits together with Plank profile, Timber effect wall cladding.
Awards: LABC Cymru Building Excellence awards 2020 - Best large commercial building.
